My, ole my how my garden is growing!!! I have almost a dozen or more green tomatoes, wonderful lettuces and great fresh herbs ready to be used. I am so excited I can’t stand it. I feel like a little kid waiting for Santa and Hubs keeps telling me that it is only May and I have to be patient. The cucumbers, melons, peppers, peas, squash, eggplant etc will be a good month or two!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH. I have NO patience. He knows this. Guess my herbs & lettuces will have to do for now. Until something else pops up! Happy Gardening!!
I have Pineapple Sage. Smells great. Yep, I bought it solely for the smell. Anyone know what to do with it?
I had pineapple sage last year. I used mostly on salad greens mixed with other herbs. It was delicious and yes, I bought it on “smell” alone too.
At the end of the season I dried it out and still have some in baby food jars in the cabinet.
I feel like I’m forgetting other ways we used it. If I remember, I’ll write you again!
Looking good! How exciting!
Looking good! I love gardens. We have pineapple sage and I use it on everything. I like to put it with chopped basil then roast potatoes with the herbs. It smells divine and tastes yummy!
I planted some wild flowers a few weeks ago. They aren’t going to bloom. So now I have a flower pot that holds some very dry dirt. You have a green thumb, I have the thumb of death.
Very cool! My big garden is getting away from me but my little one is doing fabulous. Some of my arugula bolted me over the weekend though so I ripped it up and planted some more tomatoes..LOL
Yeah, no green thumb here but I think it’s awesome. And pineapple sage? Wow, sounds like it smells wonderful! I bet it would be good mixed with some olive oil and as a rub on chicken or pork or even fish.
