Day 2 started off just fine, Jack was excited to have bacon! He loves the smell but, oddly prefers his undercooked (gag). I packed another great snack and we met friends for a picnic in the park and play date and he ate a decent amount of lunch. For dinner I have the crock pot going with chicken breast and salsa (family fav) and so the challenge continues. I ran into the grocery to pickup some Chex cereal and a few other things and when I walked in it was like the bakery was screaming at me! The bagles, muffins and such have never looked as good as they did today! Why? Why is it that anytime you try and tell yourself NOT to do to something that is all you want? UGH! It gets me every time! Oh well, so far so good. Haven’t wanted to kill anyone, am SUPER tired but think that maybe a lack of the carbs and all that junk that peps up your blood sugar? Maybe? Guess we shall see!!
Breakfast: Nussentials shake (me) Bacon & apple (jack)Lunch: 2 slices of Boar’s Head Ham, carrot sticks, fruit (jack) Big green salad with carrots, turkey, cucumbers & egg
Dinner: Salsa Chicken, corn tortillas, homemade guacamole
