Holiday Toddies

I LOVE, love, love a cocktail! I love to have a “signature” beverage for all my parties and I am having a Christmas Open House and have decided on these 3! I think I am hitting all the tastebuds! sweet & chocolately, citrus & spice.

I found this in an old Southern Living, one of my favorite mags. I dump everything in the crockpot, set it on low and enjoy it throughout the entire party. Makes your house smell great and is a nice warm drink. Perfect for Open Houses or whatever!

3 c red wine
2 c cranberry juice
1 c pineapple juice
1/4 c lemon juice
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp ginger

The Peppermint Patty is a great twist on traditional hot chocolate. We serve this at the salon throughout the Holiday Season. It is warm and looks pretty! We serve it with whipped cream on top and a peppermint stick.

1 mug of Hot Chocolate
1 Tb Peppermint Schnapps

Russian Tea is a drink that my grandmother, mother & aunts used to always drink when it was cool outside. When I was little I always loved the smell and the orange Tang is yum. I make up a batch every fall and and enjoy it on cool evenings!

2 c Tang
1/2 c instant tea
1 pkg Lemonade
2 Tb cinnamon
1 1/2 c sugar
1 tsp cloves

How cute are these cups? I found them at one of my fav stores, SWOOZIES they have some really cute things. So, of course I had to find an equally festive cocktail for my girlfriends. I am having a few friends over and I like to have a signature cocktail & party favor! Who doesn’t love a party favor?!

Thanks to my fav mag Southern Living I found EXACTLY what I was looking for! It’s even called JINGLE JUICE! How fun! Here is the yummy recipe! I think I am going to freeeze the cherries & orange slices and serve it in a giant punch bowl!

5 cups oj
1 cup vodka
1/3 cup triple sec
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup cherry juice

Garnish with fruit flavored candy canes, cherries & orange slices.
